Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be done under this contract includes: Select curb and gutter replacement locations, partial asphalt pavement patching along with some full depth pavement repairs along with a 2" mill and overlay and pavement markings along Wakarusa Dr. (Queens Rd. to West 6th St.) and along Dole Dr. The project also includes replacement of sidewalk ramps, and concrete aprons along intersections within the project limits. The project includes, but is not limited to the following approximate quantities of work: 32,427 S.Y. of Milling, 4,540 Tons of Asphalt Surface Course (2"), 6,278 L.F. of Concrete Curb and Gutter, 1,085 S.Y. of Concrete Pavement, 252 S.F. of Concrete Sidewalks (4" & 6"), and 11,579 L.F. of Pavement Marking. All questions and clarifications regarding this bid should be submitted only via email and directed to the City's purchasing department at purchasing@lawrenceks.org. The bid number shall be referenced in the email subject line. The questions deadline is July 18, 2024 - 5:00 PM Central Time Zone. All questions will receive an official written response from the City and will become addenda to this Bid.
