Renovation of a medical facility in Farmington, New Mexico. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of September 19, 2024, no bids were received. SCOPE OF WORK: San Juan County is seeking a contractor for the construction for the boiler facility upgrades at San Juan Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) located in Farmington, New Mexico. SJRMC needs to replace the existing Pressurized Dearator located on the mezzanine of their boiler building. Currently, the site is served by (2) Dearators, the backup Dearator has been disconnected from service and the main Dearator is failing. Both Dearators need to be demolished and a single vessel installed in the same location on the mezzanine. Several smaller projects will accompany this replacement including boiler control upgrades, feedwater pump replacement, Dearator control upgrades and continuous blowdown heat recovery system (CBHRS) installation. P&ID drawing is attached along with the equipment schedule. This project will utilize the re-use of the existing boiler building and will require complete demolition, removal and installation of all projects on the schedule. Some phasing for the system startup and shutdown of critical systems will be required to bring new equipment online and demolish/retrofit existing. Phasing work should allow for the steam to be operational. If it is determined that a shutdown time is necessary, it is to be scheduled and agreed upon with SJRMC personnel. Contractor must have an intimate working knowledge of an operational boiler facility and be able to plan installation/demolition of equipment while also providing electrical guidance to SJRMC personnel. All parts and equipment listed on the equipment schedule and in the technical specifications shall be provided, substitute requests will not be allowed as parts and equipment must work with existing equipment RETURN TO: Jaime Jones Contract Analyst SAN JUAN COUNTY (505) 334-4548 jjones@sjcounty.net BID SECURITY.
