Renovation of a detention facility in Petersburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
As of August 9, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on August 13, 2024. Project consists of preparing the existing metal roof for application of fluid applied coating, including patching, sealing screw heads and seams and cleaning, and application of a warranted coating to waterproof the roof. check in the amount of 10% of Bid, made payable to The Board of Commissioners for Menard County, Illinois. Failure of Bidders to submit bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract cost onprescribed forms within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by a duly authorized U.S. Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to Owner. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening of bids without written consent of the Owner.
