Renovation of a municipal facility in Petersburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Menard County Courthouse Roof Project Description: Replacing both the exterior air-cooled condensing and the interior air handling units. Includes electrical, condensate drainage, refrigerant piping, and connection to existing ductwork with flexible connections. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 10% of Bid, made payable to The Board of Commissioners for Menard County, Illinois. Failure of Bidders to submit bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract cost on prescribed forms within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by a duly authorized U.S. Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to Owner. The Menard County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening of bids without written consent of the Owner. Project Description: An existing wood girder truss has bowed due to lack of lateral bracing. The contractor is to slowly, over time, push back the truss, eliminating the bow and provide additional bracing
