Storm Sewer - Cleaning & Televising. The total estimated construction cost for the Base Bid Work for the Project for which bids are being solicited at this time is $101,500.00. Questions regarding plans and specifications should be addressed in writing to Purchasing Department, at purchasing@cantonohio.gov. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. All bidders will be required to comply with the City Contract Compliance Program regarding equal employment opportunity. After submission and opening, no bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; All questions should be submitted in writing at least five (5) business days prior to the bid opening. This is 7/19/2024, 2:00:00 PM. Bid Guaranty: Bidder shall furnish a Bid Guaranty, as prescribed in Sections 153.54, 153.57, and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the form of either: (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid in the form of the Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond included in the Contract Documents; or (2) a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in a form satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the bid. Bid amount shall be the total of all sums bid, including all add alternatives, but excluding all deduct alternatives. Date for Substantial Completion (aka Contract Time) expressed as calendar days from Notice to Proceed: 45 calendar days (Please see Date of Substantial Completion). the City reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility.
