Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Hope, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Remove and replace the existing Snass Creek Bridge with a new 24.8m, single-span, three-lane bridge including, but not limited to, construction of piled foundations, cast-in-place concrete abutments, supply and installation of precast prestressed concrete girders, supply and placement of cast-in-place concrete deck slab, and approach slabs. Work includes the construction of a two-lane temporary detour with detour bridge to accommodate two-way traffic through construction, channel improvements and restoration planting. Project Location: Highway 3, E.C. Manning Provincial Park, approximately 38 kilometres east of Hope, BC. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
