Renovation of a fire / police facility in Nampa, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of either a bid bond (penal sum form), certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal, including any add alternates, is required. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Nampa should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal. Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required within three (3) days after signing the Agreement Between Owner and Contractor. This bond shall be furnished and paid for by the Contractor and shall remain in full force one (1) year after the date of substantial completion. The City of Nampa does not have specific forms for bid and performance bonds. The standard bond forms provided by the Surety Company issuing bonds is acceptable. All Contractors submitting bids are required to have a valid State of Idaho Public Works Contractor's License and to include the license number on the Bid Form. Before a contract will be awarded for work contemplated herein, the OWNER will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low bidder to perform the size and type of work specified under this Contract. Upon request, the bidder shall submit information deemed necessary by the OWNER to evaluate the bidder's qualifications. The City of Nampa reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Nampa. Minority and women's owned businesses are encouraged to bid. The City of Nampa is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), employer.
