Site work for a warehouse / distribution facility in Stony Plain, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.

The County is seeking the services of a qualified Contractor for the provision of a new preengineered building to replace the existing Agricultural Services storage facility in 2025. The existing structure is also pre-engineered, but its replacement should be larger and partially equipped with heating and ventilation to allow for the storage of chemicals. Parkland County is seeking the services of qualified Contractors for the provision of a new preengineered Agricultural Storage Building to replace the existing storage building located at 4603 - 47 Ave in Stony Plain, Alberta in 2025. The existing building is an older pre-engineered building, with an internal space of approximately 2000 SQ FT. The new pre-engineered Agricultural Storage Building will be placed in the same location but is expected to be larger, with a preferred interior size of 3000-3200 SQ FT (approximately 40'x80'). The new Agricultural Storage Building must have a dedicated chemical storage area that adheres to all applicable codes and regulations with heating and exhaust. The remainder of the Agricultural Storage Building can be unheated and used for general storage. The County will add storage racking as required when the project is completed. The successful proponent (the "Contractor") will be required to provide the following goods and services, at minimum: - Demolition of the existing pre-engineered building (2000 SQ FT building); - Provision of a new pre engineered building (approximately 3000-3200 SQ FT), including the necessary foundation; - Related earthwork; - Standing seam roof; - R24 roof insulation; - R28 wall insulation exterior wall cladding; - 2 - 16' x 16' overhead doors; - 2 concrete aprons at overheads doors; - 20' x 20' fire rated drywall for the chemical storage area; - Exhaust fan in chemical storage area; - Small heater for chemical storage area; - 5" concrete slab as a base for the structure; - Interior and exterior hose bibs (allow for 2 inside and 1 outside); - Floor drain(s) - estimating two in the unheated area, and one in the chemical storage area; - Site services connection (electrical, water, drainage, etc.); - Electrical distribution; - Bay lighting throughout; -Convenience electrical plugs (Allow for 4 outside and 5 inside); - Exterior lighting at man doors and overhead doors; - 2-man doors; - Security system (CCTV and door contact alarms on all doors with ability to connect to a Chubb monitoring system); and - Design/Engineering.
