This total includes the cost of general conditions, mobilization(s), materials, construction, clean- up, overhead and profit. No Bid will be considered unless accompanied by a guarantee in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid, which shall be one of the following: (a) a Bid Bond supplied in the enclosed Bid Form written by an admitted surety satisfactory to the District in its sole discretion, (b) a certified or cashier's check made payable to the District, or (c) a cash deposit. In the event a successful Bidder fails to satisfy all conditions for accepting the award within the stated time limits, the District may declare the Bidder's Bid Guarantee in default. Immediately after Board action, the District Representative will notify the Contractor in writing of award of the contract.
