Site work for a mixed-use development in Terrace, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This RFP applies to and governs the preparation of Proposals for the Contract listed above. The Contract is generally for the following work: The goal of this project is to improve and replace two informal routes to provide better walking and cycling access from Eby Street to the Bench. The Terrace Viewpoint Trail will be re-routed to reduce the trail grade to be suitable for cycling and walking, improve sustainability, and increase user safety. The Pumphouse Trail will see the existing corridor improved through removal of unsafe informal infrastructure, trail improvements to the existing trail surface, and trail stairs installed on steeper sections and around corners to improve walking access and improve trail sustainability. Existing informal trails/routes in the project area will be decommissioned and re-naturalized to reduce environmental impacts and improve ease of wayfinding for users.
