The Town of Templeton is requesting quotes for the repair of the Houghton Park parking lot located at 9 Main St. Baldwinville, MA 01436, as detailed in the provided scope of work. The Town of Templeton is seeking an experienced licensed contractor with pertinent commercial experience to provide all equipment, material, labor, and expertise necessary to complete all work associated with the Houghton Park parking lot repairs as listed below: Repair the first 4,000 ft.2 of the parking lot's entry way to bring the area into ADA compliance by completing: o All asphalt milling, cutting, and/or removing where necessary to prepare the area for paving. o Fill, compact, and pave where necessary to make the area ADA compliant. o Pave a level coat of commercial grade black top on the entire 4,000 ft.2 area and roll with vibratory roller. o Pave 2 inches of topcoat with new commercial grade blacktop and roll with 10,000- pound vibratory roller. o Apply tack coat where new pavement meets street or existing to ensure proper adhesion and flushness. It is the bidder's responsibility to view and account for any addendums relating to this request, which may be found on the Town website by 12:00 p.m. July 23, 2024. Any awarded contract will be subject to all applicable Prevailing Wage rates and executed in compliance with the Commonwealth Department of Labor and Industries M.G. L. Chapter 140, Sections 26-27G. A copy of the current prevailing wages may be found in section VII on page 24 of this RFQ. One contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible quoter who proposes to complete the Houghton Park parking lot repairs in accordance with the provided scope of work at the lowest price; however, the Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes and waive informalities if deemed in the Town's best interest to do so.
