As of September 9, 2024 this project was awarded to Baker and Sons Co. in the amount of $386,359.50 The work shall consist of roadway reconstruction including 3,550 square yards of Pavement Removal and Replacement Special, 140 feet of Combination Concrete Curb and Gutter Removal and Replacement, 450 feet of Pipe Underdrains 6", and other related work. Prequalification of Bidders in accordance with the applicable parts of IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Recurring Special Provision "Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" (Check Sheet LRS 6) will be required of all bidders on this proposal. IDOT prequalification in category 003 HMA Plant Mix will be required of all bidders on this proposal. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Village or the Department of Labor, or as determined by the Court on Review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work as indicated in the special provisions to the specifications. MBE/WBE/PBE and Section 3 firms are encouraged to submit proposals. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the amount of not less than five percent of bid, or as provided in applicable parts of "Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" (Check Sheet LRS 6). The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. The work shall include, but not limited to, PCC pavement removal with HMA pavement replacement, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, pipe underdrains, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as described herein.
