Site work and paving for a road / highway in Oak Hill, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Resurfacing of Approximately 0.53 Miles of C.r. 12. The Ohio Department of Transportation has established a DBE Goal of 7% for this project. The Bidder is referred to PN13 of ODOT's 2013 LPA Template (ODOT Spec Book and LPA Spec Book) Required Contract Provisions included with the bid documents. Prevailing wages rates, as determined by the Federal Dept. of Labor, will apply to this project in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Wage Act. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications, or other proposed contract documents, he may submit to the Engineer a written request for an interpretation thereof. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of the proposed documents will be made only by addendum duly issued and a copy of such addendum will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of such documents. The awarding authority will not be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of the proposed documents. If there is a conflict between the detailed plans and specifications, the detailed plans shall prevail. When a "Special Specifications" is included in the "Bidding Forms," it shall supplement and/or modify the detailed specifications included herein and shall govern whenever there is a conflict in meaning. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The owner reserves the right to hold bids for a period of 60 days after date of opening and to award the contract at any time during that period. THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF WIDENING, VERTICAL PROFILE ADJUSTMENTS, AND RESURFACING OF APPROXIMATELY 0.53 MILES OF C.R. 12 (ANTIOCH ROAD). IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDE DRIVEWAY PROFILE ADJUSTMENTS AND TRAFFIC CONTROL. The project consists of the widening and resurfacing of approximately 0.53 miles of c.R. 12 road (antioch road) with vertical realignments, driveway updates and traffic control improvements. The project will consist of 2,800 linear feet (station 225 + 78.96 to station 253 + 78.96) of the c.R. 12 roadway with a maximum cut of approximately 4.2+- feet (station 231 + 00) and maximum fill of 2.6+- (station 250 + 20).
