The City of Waco has issued this solicitation for the purchase of batteries for the Backup Generators at the various Water Utility Services Department Facilities and at the WMARSS (Waco Metropolitan Area Reginal Sewage System) Facilities. The purchase contract will have the option to renew for an additional 4 years. The initial one-time battery purchase will start immediately. However, delivery will be as needed over a three (3) month period of time. The three (3) month period will begin upon the execution of the contract, and is estimated to be between October 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. Contractor is to have all batteries on hand and ready for delivery as soon as possible. For future years price increases may be allowed from year to year, but they will be limited to 6% per year.
