Project Description: This Project Consists of Two Phases: 1) Erecting a 40 X 70 Foot Extension of the Existing Steel Building Sale Barn With an Optional Bid to Relocate a Power Pole and Power Head; 2) Build an Approximately 1,200 Sf Single Story Livestock Office Including Installation of Two 1500 Gallon Traffic-rated Septic Pump Chambers. Estimated Project Cost: $300,000 All Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Deposit in the Form of a Postal Money Order, Cashiers Check, or Bond in an Amount Equal to Five (5) Percent of the Maximum Total Amount of the Bid. Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into a Contract or Furnish a Satisfactory Contract Bond Within the Time Stated in the Specifications, the Deposit Shall Be Forfeited to the Othello Fair. The proposed work included in this contract generally includes the following: o PHASE 1 o Construction of six (6) concrete footings to support a 40' x 75' extension of the existing steel building sale barn as designed in the Engineered footing requirements. o Erecting the 40' x 75 steel building extension and attaching it to the existing steel building sale barn. All steel, supports, and attachments are already on-site. o (OPTIONAL BID) Replace and move the power pole and power head at the NE corner of the location of the sale barn extension. Current position of the pole will interfere with the building extension, and power pole will need to move approximately three (3) to five (5) feet. o PHASE 2 o Construction of an approximately 1,230 sq. ft. single-story slab-on-grade livestock building. o Furnish and install two 1,500 gallon traffic-rated septic pump chambers with all appropriate PVC piping, electrical, and alarm systems as required by the Engineered septic system diagrams. o Electrical power, lighting, heating and ventilation, including any NREC consultations, reviews and inspections as required. o Network cabling as required by Othello Fair o Site work including site clearing; earthwork including earth fill, compaction, finish grading. o Concrete work including all sidewalks, patios, etc. as shown in the plans for the livestock building.
