Demolition and site work for a residential development in Joplin, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

For the demolition of structure(s), and clean up of area at the following location(s): 1202/1204 S Wall Ave. 219 N Pearl Ave. 2025 S Byers Ave. 810 S Missouri Ave. 320 S Winfield Ave. The Planning & Community Development Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the lowest or best bid. SPECIFICATIONS (1) Notify the City of Joplin building division of the date the demolition is to begin so that verification of interior photographs may be made. (2) Remove all structure(s), foundations and footings. (3) Remove all private sidewalks, driveways, and concrete slabs. . (4) Properly cap all utilities with an approved product for the type of utility being capped (gas, sewer, and water) at least 30 inches below natural grade. (5) Remove all debris, dead trees, and stumps. (6) Fill all low areas (after removal of all floors, footings, and foundations) to natural grade elevation compacted to approximate existing density. (7) Completion of demolition shall be one month after notice to proceed. If not completed Within one month, project will be re-bid. (8) Demolition Contractor will be responsible for proper disposal of any asbestos in or on structure to sanitary landfill or other authorized sites as provided by rule. Contractor shall provide upon request copies of landfill or disposal site receipts prior to receiving payment by the City. (9) Contractors need to bid the project without considering salvage values. The City cannot guarantee that salvageable materials will be present when the contractor starts the project.
