Resurfacing and Safety Improvements to Berlin-cross Keys Road (Cr-689) Between the Black Horse Pike (State Route 42) and the Camden County Line in the Townships of Washington and Monroe, Gloucester County, New Jersey. A Proposal Bond Approved by the County Solicitor in an Amount Equal to 10% of Total Bid, but Not in Excess of $20,000.00. The Purchasing Agent or the Board of County Commissioners, Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, Waive Any Irregularities and to Award the Contract to the Bidder Whose Proposal is Best Suited to the County's Requirements. Any Bid Obviously Unbalanced May Be Rejected. The project will consist of the resurfacing of BERLIN CROSSKEYS ROAD (CR689) BETWEEN THE BLACK HORSE PIKE (STATE ROUTE 42) AND THE CAMDEN COUNTY LINE IN THE TOWNSHIPS OF WASHINGTON AND MONROE, GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NEW JERSEY FEDERAL PROJECT NO.: 0689301 NJDOT JOB NO.: 6211316 including intersection safety improvements, and drainage improvements. The work on Berlin Crosskeys Road (CR689) shall include but not be limited to: a 2.5-inch depth of Hot Mix Asphalt 12.5ME Surface Course, 4-inch Hot Mix Asphalt 19M64 Base Course, and 6-inch Dense-Graded Aggregate Base Course. The current centerline grade on Route 689 will be generally held. The pavement cross slope will be developed at 2%. All intersections will include the upgrade of ADA ramps to comply with current standards where required. All drainage patterns will be generally held. All roadway markings shall be removed and replaced. All roadway signs shall be removed and replaced. Any detour plans must be submitted to the County for approval. Quantities are shown are approximate and shall be directed by the County for each location on the Estimate Distribution of Quantities sheet. The County reserves the right to direct additional quantities at any of the locations within the project. Items such as construction layout, clearing site and fuel price adjustment are dollar/lump sum and are applied to the entire project as a whole and are not distributed to any particular location. All restoration, soil erosion measures and protection of existing conditions shall be included in the contract and paid for under the item clearing site unless a specific pay item and location is indicated on the plans.
