Site work for a road / highway in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
On the NW side of Mulholland Dr & San Feliciano Dr in a hillside residential neighbourhood of Woodland Hills, stop debris spillage onto the roadway & encroachment on the public right-of-way by removing failed portion of timber bulkhead & replacing it with a new cast-in-drilled-hole-pile, steel-beam-&-precast-concrete-lagging slough wall, ~130-ft long & 6-ft tall. Also install metal beam guardrail & replace ~80-ft long portion of deteriorated timber-lagging bulkhead with new pressure-treated-timber lagging. A Bid Bond is not required for this project. The successful bidder shall provide two good and sufficient surety bonds. A Payment Bond and Performance Bond representing 100% of the total bid amount shall be filed with the Board Office before work commences. COMPLETION TIME 120 Calendar Days LIQUIDATED DAMAGES $1500 per Calendar Day BID REJECTION - The Board of Public Works (Board) reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding and to make awards in the best interest of the City.
