The San Bernardino County (County), Land Use Services Department (Department), is seeking Proposals from interested and qualified Proposers to provide professional on-call engineering services as periodically required by the Department. Such services would include, but are not limited to, plan check review of improvement plans, site improvement design, grading, hydrology and hydraulic reports, stormwater control plans, traffic signal plans, traffic signal timing, joint trench plans, streetlighting plans processing, administration and photometrics, permit technician, inspections, and other engineering functions as needed, attend meetings on behalf of the Department, and represent the Department on engineering issues. The number of awards will be determined by the quality of the proposals received. Date for Tentative Contract Award September 10, 2024. Services to be provided under this Request for Proposals (RFP) are outlined under Section V, Scope of Work. The Contract period will be for a maximum of three (3) years beginning on September 10, 2024 through September 9, 2027, with the option by the County to extend two (2) additional one-year (1) periods. The County may reject as non-responsive any Proposal that does not comply with all of the material and substantial terms, conditions, and performance requirements of the RFP. Further, the County may reject a Proposal from any entity that is a parent, affiliate, or subsidiary, or that is under common ownership, control, or management with any other entity submitting a Proposal in response to this RFP.
