Site work and paving for a civil project in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Develop and submit to the Engineer a Traffic Control Plan for review and approval for maintaining traffic control on Sprinkle Road, and adjacent street. Place Single Chip over the existing HMA pavement, as per the 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction, Sections 502 and 505. Place Seal, Fog over the chip-sealed surface as per the SPECIAL PROVISION FOG SEAL 20RC500(A035). Complete the fog seal within 48 hours of the chip seal application, but not on the same day as the application of the chip seal. Maintenance of Traffic and pavement markings will also be provided by the Contractor. To avoid disqualification, the bidder must be currently listed as a MDOT Prequalified Contractor in the following category(s): MDOT Prequalified in Chip Seals - Ca Anticipated contract begin date: Monday, August 5, 2024 Question Deadline 07/10/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Bidder questions about this RFP must be emailed to the Solicitation Manager no later than the time and date specified on the Cover Page. Anticipated date the State will post answers to bidder questions on electronically 3:00 p.m. Eastern Thursday, July 11, 2024.
