Bids Are Invited for One or More Items as Follows: -base Bid B: Flexbase -2,282 Tons of White Flex (1-1/2" to 1-3/4") -4,824 Tons of Red Flex (1-1/2" to 1-3/4") -base Bid C: Asphalt Base Stabilizer -33,880 Gallons of Asphalt Based Stabilizer -base Bid D: Seal Coat -26,071 Gallons of Seal Coat Oil -3,825 Gallons of Primer - Diluted Seal Coatoil -base Bid E: Chip Seal: 763 Tons of Grade4 Washed Chip Seal Rock (3/8") -base Bid F: Culverts: 16 Guage 2-2/3" X 1/2 "corrugated Galvinized Metal Pipe: 15", 24",36" & 48" A Bid Bond in the Amount of 5 Percent of the Bid Issued by an Acceptable Surety is Required With Each Bid for Those Contracts That Exceed $100,000. A Certified Check or Bank Draft Payable to the Lamar County or Negotiable U.s. Government Bonds (as Par Value) May Be Submitted in Lieu of the Bid Bond. The County of Lamar Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. Bids May Be Held by Lamar County for a Period Not to Exceed 60 Days From the Date of the Bid Opening for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Bidders' Qualifications Prior to the Contract Award.
