Renovation of a fire / police facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

As of October 2, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Fire Station 7 Upgrades Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The Owner/City Council reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Bidder agrees that the Base Bid Work will be substantially complete within 150 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06.B of the General Conditions within 180 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. If the Owner awards the Add Alternate Bid, an additional 0 consecutive calendar days will be added to the Base Bid substantial and final completion periods for a total of 150 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion and 180 for final completion. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Architect in writing only. Questions received less than 7 working days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
