Rice Lake Hail Damage Repair Project. Each bid shall be accompanied by the Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in the amount equal to at least 10 percent of the amount of the total bid, which shall be forfeited to the City of Rice Lake in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract. Bidders may be requested to submit "Contractor's Qualification Statement." Bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. Description: This Contract consists of the repair and replacement of various building components including, but not limited to roofing, flashing, skylights, gutters and other miscellaneous items that were damaged in a recent hailstorm. The repair and replacement work is required on various building and structures located throughout the City of Rice lake, WI. Multiple lump sum bids shall be provided for the Rice Lake Hail Damage Repair Project according to the Contract Documents prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. dated June 25, 2024. Bid #1 - Shingle roof buildings at the Curling Club, Salt Shed and Petunia Shed Bid #2 - All other shingled roof buildings replacement Bid #3 - All metal roof buildings, including flashing and rain cap repairs Bid #4 - All membrane roof buildings, including the sky light at City Hall Bid #5 - All painting repairs Bid #6 - All AC fan blade/fins, and HVAC repairs. The City of Rice Lake reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. The City of Rice Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract deemed most advantageous to the City 1.
