This Project has no award Question Deadline 07/21/2024 at 10:00 PM CT Overview: The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for a qualifed contractor to; Furnish & install waterproofing material and sump pump at the Ankeny MVD Building located at 6310 Convenience Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50021. Scope: Furnish and install waterproofing material for approximately 45 LF along foundation wall on south of building removing drywall and framing as needed approximately 32" above floor. Furnish and install pump into existing pit, removing concrete as needed, sump pump to be 115 V, 1/2 HP, oil filled motor with cast iron housing. See Attachment tab for floor plan and photographs of work area. Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders as work performance and work capacity. Estimated start date- Upon issuance of award (The date shall be coordinated with the IDOT Project Manager. (This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received (i.e., Insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract). Estimated project end date- 9/30/2024 (This includes resolution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance typically used in construction bids).
