Project Description: Construction of a new approximately 29,500 square foot, free-standing dental clinic and educational facility located on the Des Moines Area Community College Ankeny Campus, 2006 Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. Bid Package #01 – Precast: Scope of work includes material only contract for precast. Construction Manager or designee will open, announce the name of the contractor submitting a bid, and file all proposals received on said date. Bids will be acted upon by the Construction Manager following tabulation and review with the Owner. Award of the Contract shall be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidders determined on the basis of the total base bid plus none or any combination of alternates (if any) selected by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to choose none, some, or all of the additive alternates (if any). Neither the Construction Manager, Owner nor its agents will assume liability for the inability of the bidder to submit a bid in a timely manner. Bids received after the deadline will be rejected. Bidders bear full and complete responsibility for the timely submission of such bid. Time of receipt shall be the time recorded and determined by the Construction Manager. Successful bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and deliver materials for this scope of no later than November 21, 2025 The Construction Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids, re-advertise for new bids, and to waive informalities that may be in the best interest of the project.
