Renovation of a conference / convention center in Washington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
This project is subject to the PA Separations Act of 1913 and is separated into four (4) prime contracts for General Trades, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing, which cumulatively include the total project scope. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to North Franklin Township. Awarded bidder shall provide a 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, and 10% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by North Franklin Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract. North Franklin Township reserves the rights to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the Waterside Park Event Center Project.
