Site work for a transportation facility in Ocala, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

Relocate existing aluminum gate 15 from the current location and install it in a new location. B. Construct 400 ft of new galvanized chain link fence fabric topped with 3-strand barbed wire to be installed (overall height of 6 ft, with associated posts, braces, etc.). C. 400 ft of new galvanized chain link fence fabric partially buried for Wildlife skirt (4 ft high section - the Airport has this fence fabric and will provide for installation). D. Install a new gate motor and associated gooseneck/keypad outside the fence for entry control, exit, and safety loops in working order in accordance with manufacturer instructions. E. Install new 2-inch electrical conduit with pull string approximately 70 ft from nearest 60th Ave Power pole across/under access road to new pole site in accordance with OEU Conduit Policy 08-23-3- 2023. OEU will pull the wire and install a new pole and connections. The City reserves the right to purchase or provide any materials for the Contractor to use. The Contractor shall not charge a mark-up fee for material furnished by the City Bidder must be a licensed Underground Utility, General, or Building Contractor in the State of Florida to submit a bid for this project. Formal Question Due By 7/24/2024 @ 5:00 PM EST CONSTRUCTION WORK AREAS 1. The City of Ocala is not responsible for providing property or lay down yards to the Contractor for their materials or equipment. If private property is used, the City requires a copy of the agreement between the property owner and the Contractor. Utilizing private property without written permission is prohibited. 2. Components of the project, including temporary work and storage areas, will be located on-site per project. Staging areas will be located near the worksite inside the airport security fence. Material and equipment staging areas will be kept in a clean and orderly fashion. 3. Provide on-site sanitary facilities as required by Governing agencies. 4. Construction work area must be backfilled or protected by construction fencing at the end of each business day. Any work areas in roadways must at least be filled temporarily with asphalt millings or covered with a FDOT approved steel road plate before the roadway can be opened to traffic. If millings are used the Contractor must maintain the millings daily until the millings are replaced with permanent asphalt. Any breaches in Airport security fence must never be left unattended, and they must be secured at the end of the business day with suitable temporary fencing
