The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals Bidders shall hold a valid State of Nevada Contractor’s License of a class corresponding to the work to be performed at the time the Proposal is submitted to the City of Reno. Failure to possess the appropriate contractor’s license at the time the Proposal is submitted will result in the Proposal being rejected. The minimum wages to be paid for labor shall not be less than the prevailing wages scale for Washoe County as determined by the Labor Commissioner of the State of Nevada. The provisions of NRS 338.020 through NRS 338.090 shall apply If this proposal shall be accepted and the undersigned fail to contract as aforesaid and to give a Performance Bond in the amount not less than the full contract amount, one-hundred percent (100%), and a Payment Bond of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount A certified check, cashier’s check, bid bond or cash, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each Proposal, as a guarantee that if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will execute the Contract, give the two (2) bonds required The scope of this contract is to provide miscellaneous traffic signal repairs, city wide, on an as-needed basis. Items of work will typically include the removal and replacement of traffic signal conduit, loops, pole bases, and other miscellaneous traffic signal items as needed. All quantities listed are for purposes of comparing bids only, and represent no guarantee of the quantities to be completed.
