Reference Number 0000357224 Job Location: County Road 30.1 Road Name: CR 30.1 Length: 2 miles Piggyback Contract: No 4.5 of asphalt paving to be placed on a segment of CR 30.1 per bid docs Las Animas County (County) is seeking sealed bids from qualified Bidders/Contractors to place new Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) on a segment of County Road 30.1. New HMA will be placed on an aggregate base course (ABC) road that the County will prepare. For the new asphalt, the bottom course will be app 2 1/2" in depth followed by a top course of app 2". Bidder will ensure a smooth transition from the eastern end's existing HMA to the new asphalt's full depth. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any minor informality or irregularity in bids received which, in the Board's opinion, do not affect the general intent of the bid nor prejudice other Bidders. In addition, the Board can reject, for good and compelling reasons, any and all bids received. Conditional bids, or those which take exception to bid specifications detailed herein, may be rejected.
