Town of Kingsford Heights will receive sealed bids for the collection, transportation, and disposal of garbage and trash within the Town of Kingsford Heights, Indiana. Each proposal shall also be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit as required by Indiana, Affidavit of E-Verify Compliance and Non-Investment in Iran, and Bidder's Form. The general plans and specifications are available at the Kingsford Heights Town Hall, 504 Grayton Road, Kingsford Heights, Indiana 46346.Each bidder must deposit with their bid security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bidder's total bid price for one (1) year of the contract, such security being an acceptable bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and maintenance bonds in the full amount of the bid for a year of operation. No responsibility will be attached to any Town representative or employee for the premature opening of a bid not properly addressed and identified. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
