Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waukegan, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

All responses will be posted on the College website by 4:00 P.M. CST on July 18, 2024. A performance bond satisfactory to the College, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Illinois, in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the purchase order issued by the College as security for the faithful performance of the College's contract; and A payment bond satisfactory to the College, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Illinois, for the protection of all persons supplying labor and materials to the Contractor or Subcontractors for the performance of work provided for in the contract, in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the purchase order issued by the College. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the College of Lake County for not less than ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: A. Installation of new playground work (equipment pre-purchased by Owner). B. Installation of poured-in-place rubber surface (material pre-purchased by Owner). C. New site fencing and gates. D. Compacted aggregate base course and concrete foundation/retaining walls. E. Structural steel supports at elevated playground area. F. Storm sewer work and perforated drain tile for new playground areas. G. Concrete ramp & stair work. H. Landscaping work (topsoil, sod & seed) at areas affected by site construction.
