Site work and paving for a road / highway in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work consists of placement of approximately 846 tons of hot mix asphalt for leveling, placement of approximately 20,139 SY of 20% rubberized chip seal, and related work to include sweeping of the roadway. Bid Security from the Contractor in the form of cash, certified check, treasurers check, or cashiers check, drawn upon a responsible bank in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be made payable to the City of Greenfield A 50% Labor and Materials (Payment) Bond will be required of the successful bidder. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work All work covered by this Contract is to be completed by September 15, 2024. The City of Greenfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, if it be in the public interest to do so.
