Site work for a civil project in Star, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
This work shall consist of Installation of a metal Americans with Disability Access (ADA) Pedestrian bridge in front of a single family residence that spans an 8 foot drainage swale. All questions or clarifications must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Monday, July 22, 2024. The work shall be completed in its entirety on or before October 18, 2024. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about August 12, 2024. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $500.00 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as "Bid Security") issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or reject any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of ACHD.
