The Corporation of the City of Temiskaming Shores invites Tenders from qualified Contractors for the supply of winter sand, mixed and stockpiled at three (3) different locations within Temiskaming Shores for its Public Works winter control seasons in 2024/2025 and 2025/2026. The initial work involves supplying sand in desired quantities, to the specified locations as and where directed, and mixed with salt at a rate of 4% when stored inside and 5% when stored outside. Salt shall be provided by the City. The Contractor will then be expected to stockpile the mixed sand where designated by the City. Further and subsequent to the initial work, this agreement shall encompass winter control operations for 2024/25 and 2025/26. Winter control operations are described as commencing November 01 through April 15th annually. The agreement termination date shall be considered July 15th, 2026. The term of this agreement is for the next two Winter Control Seasons which include 2024-2025 season and the 2025-2026 season.
