Supply and placement of ~3,000 m3 rip rap on the upstream face of dam embankments. The Water Security Agency (WSA) is providing this notice of an anticipated public procurement opportunity for the vendor community and interested contractors. This notice is not a formal solicitation but is intended as an early notification to assist in advanced planning efforts. It is WSA's intent to post a public procurement competition on SaskTenders for construction services to upgrade the rip rap at Broderick Reservoir, located in West Central Saskatchewan approximately 90 km south of Saskatoon. Construction would start immediately upon award with minor clean up potentially anticipated in 2025. WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province's water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
