Sanitary Sewer Connections of Single-Family Residences in the Mon-E-Bak and Brown Road East Areas - Round 3 Description: Franklin County Board of Commissioners, on behalf of the Franklin County Department of Sanitary Engineering, seeks the installation of a backwater valve on the new sewer lateral within five (5) feet of the foundation of the primary structure is required for properties in the Brown Road East service area. Backwater valves may be used in lieu of a cleanout within five (5) feet of the exterior wall only if the backwater valve is comprised of an eight (8) inch body, has a six (6) inch riser, and is serviceable. Backwater valves that do not meet these requirements must be installed in addition to a cleanout in the Brown Road East Area. All Questions Should Be Directed To: All questions must be received in writing on or before August 6, 2024, by 5:00 p.m. and directed to Erika Patray, Sr. Purchasing Coordinator, Franklin County Purchasing Department, 373 S. High Street, 25th Floor, Columbus, Ohio 43215-6315, email address: epatray@franklincountyohio.gov. Franklin County will respond to all questions on August 13, 2024.
