Substation Transformer Recondition & Repair The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. The work included under these specifications includes the necessary procedures, equipment, expertise and materials to perform recondition and repair of medium power transformers as outlined in Section 2.0. The transformer shall be picked up from the pad the transformer is currently located on by the successful bidder at 1019 E. Jackson St. Springfield, IL 62703 and returned to delivery at original site or location within the Springfield city limits designated by CWLP. B. Prior to bid opening, dates for a site visit at 1019 E. Jackson St. Springfield, IL 62703 shall be established between prospective bidders and CWLP staff. Site visits are strongly encouraged and the purpose of the visit is for prospective bidders to view the current configuration of the transformer, understand scope of work, and plan for appropriate removal of the transformer from the current location. Contractor shall arrange a site visit to verify all dimensions and conditions at project site. Site visits will be coordinated through William Casson by email at william.casson@cwlp.com.
