Renovation of a fire / police facility in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project Scope: Public Safety Building Project scope includes replacement of exterior aluminum storefront windows, precast joint caulk replacement, power washing exterior façade, and applying a water repellant, replacement of existing HVAC system with new VRF system, new LED lighting, new ACT ceilings, and new exterior wall furring, gyp board and spray foam insulation. The Owner has established a contract performance time of 292 calendar days from the date of the Notice To Proceed. All project work shall be substantially completed within the stated time frame. This project is subject to liquidated damages as prescribed within the Project Manual. Question Deadline 07/30/2024 at 12:00 PM CT All bid questions must be submitted in writing to Traci Carter by n addendum will be issued to all bidders, no later than 48 hours prior to bid due date. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the Airport. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price at the time of contract execution. The Springfield Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received, to reject any or all bids in whole or part and to determine the lowest responsible bid.
