No timeline for construction has been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for update:* The City of High Shoals has received a Community Development Block Grant - Infrastructure (CDBG-I) award in the amount of $1,703,309 by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) for the City of High Shoals Water System Phase 2 CDBG-I project which will install approximately 2,950 LF of 12" water lines and appurtenances along the entire length of River Street serving 36 single family homes within the City. The High Shoals City Council is requesting statements of qualifications (RFQ) for professional engineering services to develop a final engineering report, and subsequent engineering design and bid package services and construction inspection services once release of funds is received for this project in compliance with all applicable requirements under the CDBG-I Program.
