All work shall be completed in every detail to the satisfaction of the Project Manager and City of Oceanside Building Division Inspectors exclusive of any curing periods, within 30 working days after the commencement date set forth in the Notice to Proceed or prior to February 1st, 2025 whichever is sooner. Liquidated Damages: Per Section 7 of the General Provisions, Subsection 7.24, the Liquidated Damages for failure of the CONTRACTOR to complete the work within the Contract Time set forth in Subsection 1.3.4 and Section 6, Notice to Proceed are in the sum of five hundred dollars ($500) per consecutive day in excess of the contract time.Time is of the essence in the performance of work under this contract.
