Site work for a civil project in Hazard, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 23, 2024 project was awarded to Clay Pipeline, Inc., awarded amount is $2,231,764.50. Work is generally to include approximately 9,022 LF of 1-1/4, 2, 3, 4, and 6-inch HDPE and 4-inch Ductile Iron Sewer Force Main, 125 LF of Horizontal Directional Drilled Force Main, approximately 8,054 LF of Gravity Sewer with 62 manholes and installation of 4 Duplex Submersible Lift Stations. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Questions regarding this project must be received by Nesbitt Engineering, Inc. (859-685-4525 or bmcgregor@neiky.com) in writing no later than 3:00 pm on 07/19/2024. DBEs are encouraged to bid. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $750 per calendar day All bidders shall submit with their bid an acceptable bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner. The Bidder awarded the contract shall complete this project within 270 calendar days. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bid award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
