Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Laredo, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.

Replacement of Jefferson Water Treatment Plant West High Service Pump Station and 30-Inch / 36-Inch Discharge Line. Contract time is 600 calendar days for Substantial Completion and 630 calendar days for Final Completion. The scope of work includes construction of a new West High Service Pump (WHSP) Facility to replace the existing WHSP in the Jefferson Water Treatment Plant (WTP), structural modification of the existing Clearwell #1 underground storage tank, and modification of yard piping. All associated improvements including instrumentation and controls, electrical wiring and conduits replacement, structural repairs, paving, and site improvements shall be completed in place as described in the Project Manual and as shown in the Plans. Reference Section 800 Summary of Work for details of work items. Each proposal and the proposal guaranty must be originals and must be sealed in an envelope plainly marked with the name of the project as shown above, and the name and address of the Bidder. When submitted by mail, this envelope shall be placed in another envelope addressed as indicated in this Notice to Bidders. Only proposals and proposal guaranties actually in the hands of the designated official at the time set in this Notice to Bidders shall be considered. Proposals submitted by telephone, telegraph, or fax, will not be considered. Bidders are expressly advised to review Section C-3.10 of the General Conditions of the proposed Contract as to the causes which may lead to the disqualification of a bidder and/or the rejection of a bid proposal. Unless all bids rejected, Owner agrees to give Notice of Award of Contract to the successful bidder within sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening. Question Deadline 07/29/2024 at 5:00 PM CT The deadline to ask questions at online. Estimate: $10,167,000. Any bids delivered by a delivery service will be rejected.
