The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting General Engineering Consulting Services to address capital program needs and provide direct assistance on MBTA projects. The Scope of Services may include but are not limited to: design, engineering, and construction phase services for Passenger Facility, Transit, Commuter Rail, Bus, Ferry, and General Facility Infrastructure Asset Types. The scope of services will be authorized on a task order basis. The duration of these contracts will be three (3) years, with up to two (2) options to extend for up to one (1) year each, based on the needs of the MBTA. This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 22% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities. This is not a Request for Proposal. The MBTA reserves the right to cancel this procurement or to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
