Site work and paving for a road / highway in Evansville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed improvement consists of the removal of 1,651 square yards of aggregate/HMA roadway, replacement with PCC (jointed) pavement, and all other miscellaneous work necessary to complete reconstruction along Broad St. between Walnut St. and Maple St. in the Village of Evansville No less than the prevailing wage rates, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, shall be paid to all laborers, operators, teamsters, masons, and any work men employed in construction on this project. All work shall be performed in accordance with the IDOT "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", latest edition and the proposal documents as prepared by Volkert, Inc. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond on the form contained in the proposal, bank cashier's check, bank draft, or certified check, payable to the Kaskaskia Regional Port District, for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. KRPD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid should it consider the same to be in its best interest.
