Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of Quincy's MR 689 Project consists of resurfacing North 30th Street beginning at Maine Street and ending at Chestnut Street with an omission at Broadway (IL 104). Replacement of PCC sidewalks, driveways, and combination curb and gutter. Replacement of the existing water main from south of Hampshire to Broadway. Replacement of lead water services along North 30th north of Broadway. Other related improvements. All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past. The City of Quincy is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer and encourages minority group participation in the bidding and construction process. Bidders are notified that not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract.
