Each BID must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the City Clerk at 115 W Naches Avenue, Selah, WA 98942. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as BID for E. Goodlander Road Retaining Wall Reconstruction, and the envelope should bear on the outside the BIDDER'S NAME, address, and license number if applicable, and the name of the project for which the BID is submitted. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the BID must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the OWNER at City Hall, 115 W Naches Avenue, Selah, WA 98942. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the City of Selah for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the City of Selah in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the City for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement.
