Engineers Estimate: $250,000 - $500,000 City of Ketchikan is requesting sealed bids for the Valley Court Road Surfacing Contract No. 24-23 consisting of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and other facilities necessary to complete the Work set forth in the Contract Drawings and Specifications, and terms of the Contract successfully. The Work that is presented in the Bid Proposal for this Contract generally consists of asphalt paving, curb and gutter installation, precast concrete block wall, road grading, casting adjustments and storm drain installation on Valley Court and coordinating work with the Owner. Inquiries about this project should be made to the Public Works Engineer's office at karleemiller@ketchikan.gov PURPOSE The purpose of the following information, Supplementary and Special Conditions is to provide additional detail and clarification and not to remove General Condition requirements unless specifically noted otherwise. SCOPE OF WORK The Valley Court Road Surfacing, Contract No. 24-23 generally consist of asphalt paving, curb and gutter installation precast concrete block wall, road grading, casting adjustments and storm drain installation on Valley Court and associated site work, traffic control, public notifications, and coordinating work with the Owner and the public.
