The town seeks design, permitting, and construction services to develop and construct all aspects of the projects. The Town of Eagle, Colorado (Town), is located along Interstate 70, approximately 30 miles west of Vail and 35 miles east of Glenwood Springs. With a population of approximately 7,500, the Town has a vibrant community actively engaged in recreation and natural resource management. The Town sits near the confluence of Brush Creek and the Eagle River, which itself is approximately 15 miles upstream of the Eagle River's confluence with the Colorado River Residents strongly value access to recreational opportunities and the protection of ecologically important areas and wildlife habitat within the Town's incorporated boundary. Particularly in the lower Brush Creek corridor, residents have continually supported investment in the riparian area and adjacent open space properties to improve wildlife habitat. Residents have also supported riparian enhancement projects along the tributaries of Brush Creek, such as Hernage and Abrams Creeks.
