Closing Time: 3:00 PM (NT) ** Please note the Q & A 2 has been issued for this tender. ** Question Deadline 07/29/2024 at 11:59 PM NT The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, as represented by the 911 Division of the Emergency Services Branch of the Department of Justice and Public Safety (the Department), intends to enhance the current Basic 9-1-1 service to a Next Generation 9-1-1 service. The Department is seeking the services of a qualified consultant with extensive experience and expertise in the technologies, design, engineering, and operational requirements of NG9-1-1 systems. The Consultant will provide expertise in the engineering, technical specifications, and design of a solution that provides a system that supports the current 9-1-1 service but also the interoperability between 9-1-1 services and Emergency Service Provider (ESP) dispatch services and other identified users and the enhancement capabilities into NG9-1-1 services. The Proponent will also be responsible to identify the requirements for an appropriate NG9-1-1 capable Call Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Call Handling Solution (CHS) to accommodate the identified solution. The Consultant will advise and support the Department in validating the technical, operational, and service requirements stated in the RFP and in evaluating and responding to the Proponents submissions to the Department throughout the RFP process .
