Renovation of a mixed-use development in North Manchester, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and swimming pool.
For Strauss-Peabody Aquatic and Fitness Center Mechanical Upgrades The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Base Bid: Replace existing Desertaire dehumidification unit with new Desertaire unit, AHU-1. Including but not limited to all mechanical, electrical and associated control work. 2. Alternate bid #1: Replace existing Desertaire dehumidification unit with new Innovent unit, AHU-1a. Including but not limited to all mechanical, electrical and associated control work. 3. Alternate bid #2: Replace existing pool boilers and boiler pumps. Including but not limited to all mechanical, electrical and associated control work. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashiers check or a bid bond executed by a surety company which is authorized to do business in the State of Indiana, made payable to the Town of North Manchester and in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount shall be required to be provided by the successful bidder to the Town of North Manchester or its assignee no later than ten (10) days after the execution of such contract The Town of North Manchester reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any or all informalities, irregularities and/or inconsistencies in, or with respect to, any or all bids.
